Demanding action

As a private citizen, my hands are tied; otherwise, I would very much like to take action on this.

Expressing disgust over the incident, Tushar Gandhi, great-grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, says, “what can one say, I don’t know where these people even think this kind of idea. I think it is just that they get instant publicity the world over. It hurts me and amuses me at the same time that there are people with such vivid imagination who come up with such brilliant brand identity strategies.” Adding and blaming the government for the past incident too, Tushar roars, “This question should be asked to the government of India because in the Constitution of India, Bapu’s name and image has been accorded with special protection on power with the national emblem and flag, and they are the best to take action against it. As a private citizen, my hands are tied; otherwise, I would very much like to take action on this. I don’t have that kind of right with me. In the past episode too the government was mum and the public was more active to let the company turn down the name.”
