We are bang in the middle of the festive season, which means that we may have already purchased half the clothes, matching accessories and make-up, which we will buy this season. But then, why do we leave our home out when it comes to giving it a new vibe?
On this, Natasha Jain, CEO and co-founder, Bent Chair, suggests, “As the festive season is in full swing, most homeowners are looking for exquisite-yet-vibrant home décor products to embellish their abodes. While earlier people desired value for money products, nowadays, people are ready to splurge money on distinctive and unique home interior purchases.”
Elaborating further on this year’s trend, Natasha chirps, “There are numerous in-vogue trends to follow this year. But it is extremely important to redefine the look and interior design of your house before you kick-start a makeover of your living space. The idea should be to maximise, so I suggest that you can experiment with diverse pop colours and quirky accessories to give a modern contemporary look.”
According to the young entrepreneur, with the addition of colourful wall plates or wall décor elements, one can refurbish the complete look of the room within no time. For the furniture, one should opt for a combination of bright and neutral shades that blend well the overall theme of the room. In line with the festivities, one should beautify home using lights such as chandeliers, eccentric floor lamps, playful ceiling lights, etc.
She also advises not to forget embellishing the interior with lots of quirky home décor products such as sculptures, vases, bookends, mirrors and table-lamps. On the whole, binge on the above-mentioned trends and give your interiors an unconventional appearance this festive season!
