Markle's half sister asks for forgiveness, hopes to get invite to royal wedding
Samantha Grant who is Meghan Markle's half sister is asking forgiveness from her soon-to-be royal sibling after several nasty public comments about her, and, she still hopes to be invited to the royal wedding.
53-year-old Grant seems to be oscillating between trying to endear herself to the soon-to-be-royal with whom she has had no communication since 2014, and lashing out at her.
Grant says she is now seeking forgiveness from Meghan.
Speaking to Mirror, the estranged sister said that the last time she heard her voice was in 2014,
She went on to add that in light of several negative comments she made about Meghan, she adds 'I can only say to Meg, ''Forgive me.''
Samantha has been promoting her forthcoming memoir, 'The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister,' the title of which she says is not an insult to Meghan, but about 'social perceptions and labels.'
She says she 'wanted to show in the book that she [is the] opposite.'
However, as Meghan's family all seem eager for an invite to the wedding, Samantha says her own invitation is uncertain.
She said, “I'd be lying to say that I wouldn't be hurt if I didn't get an invite but that's really up to her.”
Samantha recently made comments about that $75,000 dress Meghan wore for her engagement announcement photos with Prince Harry.
She told In Touch 'If you can spend $75,000 on a dress, you can spend $75,000 on your dad.'
