Pornstar who did adult films to pay for education is now studying at top law school

Several people who started out working in porn films went on to make a name for themselves as movie stars. Many porn actors have made headlines in the past few years as their rise to fame was marked by controversies.

Miriam Weeks came in the spotlight as pornstar Belle Knox a while back when she did adult movies to pay for her education at the prestigious Duke University. Following the revelation, she appeared on several shows to defend her job.

She is now on her way to become a lawyer as she is now a student at a top law school in Tribeca. While the institution neither confirmed nor denied the news citing privacy regulations, it is understood that Weeks aspires to become a civil rights lawyer.

Back at Duke University a security guard had to be considered after getting threats and facing harassment from other students.
