Viral footage shows woman sitting in trunk of a taxi while holding a table

Indian roads are filled with commuters coming up with bizarre hacks to reach their destination from people travelling on roofs of vehicles to hanging on sides of crowded buses. But it’s still hard to imagine someone travelling in the trunk of a car while holding on to their belongings.

In what must be one of the weirdest hacks ever, a woman was seen sitting in the trunk of a taxi on the highway in China as she held a table. The police stopped the taxi and took the driver and the woman back to the office where they found out she was the driver’s wife.

The duo was trying to save on hiring a vehicle to move the table and with no space in the trunk this seemed like the best option as they didn’t have a rope. While the police fined the taxi driver and cut two points on his license, people on social media didn’t appreciate it either.
