French artist turns cement mixer into disco ball, hosts party

Benedetto Bufalino converted a dark under-construction locality into a party for passersby for two days

Lyon: We can all just agree now that art makes life better because creating something out of nothing seems to be happening a lot lately. After an Dutch artist created art in war-torn Gaza, a French artist recently used construction equipment to turn the into a party zone.

French artist Benedetto Bufalino thought a construction site was too boring in the nights and thought of doing doing something fun. He took a cement mixer and turned it into a stunning work of art. The rotating equipment was turned into a giant disco ball, as Bufalino turned the surrounding area into a live party scene open to pedestrians for three days.

The artist simply placed mirrored tiles all over the mixer and the place lit up with glimmers of light coming from the rotating sphere.
