Youngster gets ditched by friends on birthday, 'Stranger Things' stars reach out
Los Angeles: "Stranger Things" stars Millie Bobby Brown and Gaten Matarazzo have lent support to a boy whose friends did not attend his show-themed birthday party.
The young fan of the show, Aaron Alambat, had organised a Stranger Things styled party for his friends. The walls were decorated with fairy lights, in reference to a scene from season one where Winona Ryder's character had hung up the lights to interact with her missing son Will.
However, the boy's friends ditched him and never turned up at his party.
Aaron' sister Ayen tweeted, "My brother invited eight of his classmates for his 'Stranger Things' themed birthday party & none of their punk selves showed up."
She also shared photos from the themed birthday bash.
Millie, who plays Eleven on the hit Netflix show, reached out to Aaron and said would love to join him at his birthday party next year.
"What!!!! Oh Well You can let them all know that everyone on behalf of 'Stranger Things' would've come! I think you are awesome and next year I would like an invite... Please?" tweeted Millie.
Matarazzo, also reached out and said he would be willing to attend the party too.
"Count me in too! I'll bring the chocolate pudding," he tweeted.
Ayen later tweeted that her brother has calmed down but he has resolved not to attend the future parties of his classmates as a payback.
