British man who had sex with his two dogs is banned from keeping pets for 10 years

A man who sexually abused his two pet dogs has been banned from keeping pets for 10 years.

Robert Gwynn, was reported to police after DNA tests revealed he had abused his Bedlington Terriers, Taff and Ben.

The 60-year-old appeared at Newport Crown Court and admitted performing sexual intercourse with animals.

According to reports the RSPCA discovered the animal abuse after he was spotted having sex with the pooches.

Speaking to the media, Inspector Izzi Hignell said, “This was a disgusting and horrific case to investigate, with this man admitting to have forcibly had intercourse with two Bedlington Terriers.”

She further added, “These poor dogs have been subject to such a disturbing act which would undoubtedly have proven a truly horrendous ordeal for both animals involved.”

Hignell also revealed that the man was seen penetrating one of the dogs.

Following a DNA test, it was found that both dogs had human DNA on them, while the man had dog DNA on his penis.

Gwynn of Pontlottyn, near Caerphilly, was handed a three month suspended sentence and banned from keeping animals for 10 years. He was also ordered to pay £500 costs and a £115 victim surcharge.
