Awkward questions that Indians need to stop asking
The desi concept of 'small talk' can get needlessly petty in certain situations. Some people don't get the concept of privacy at all and have no issues firing shockingly rude questions at someone they've just met.
So, one day Bengaluru-based chef Madhu Menon asked on Twitter what types of questions should Indians simply stop asking or talk about during conversations. Of course he didn’t have to wait too long as there was no dearth of questions that folks felt had no place in social situations.
Quote this tweet with something you think Indians should stop asking/telling people in conversations.

For me: "You've put on weight, no?"
Here’s a sample of these nosy queries:
@madmanweb "Why have you gone so dark? Soon, you'll be black as night. Avoid, avoid the sun." Little wonder India has Vit D deficiency!

@madmanweb "What do you do?" "I write." "Oh that's nice... But what do you do for a living?"

"What's the cost of that?" Or "What's your salary?" five minutes after meeting someone https://t.co/LZD9nM9ih7

@madmanweb "Wow, you've lost weight!" as a compliment(which may actually have been for the wrong reasons.)
