Experimentation is key with bright green tones, for those who have a lighter complexion with yellow undertones.

What shade do you think of when you read the word green? Maybe an olive green, bottle green or my personal favourite sea green! It doesn't really matter, because either which way green is going to be the colour of 2017.

Right from green taking over the world of apparel and clothing, looks like the colour is set to take over everything! And most importantly our hair! Regardless of whether you love it or hate it, the hair trend is eye-catching. For those who haven’t tried the colour yet and really want to, that’s what 2017 is going to be all about – green hair.

Experimentation is key with bright green tones, for those who have a lighter complexion with yellow undertones. While a mix of two shades or a pastel green would better suit those with a reddish tan, to make the look pop. Dark and deep shades would look amazing for those who have a darker complexion, but it’s okay to mix it up and experiment with pastels too, to take the look a notch higher.

For those of you who are getting a funky hair colour for the first time, it’s advisable to get a bunch of low lights and see how it suits you, and then go all in. And since low-lights are also trending right now, you won’t look out of place. But whatever it is that you do decide on, make sure you have a good hairstylist to help you get the best look. So get started with that research because experimentation in this department, is definitely not advisable!
