Delhi has inspired people to dive into its diverse culture, where one venture into it, he or she comes out a different person.
Mumbai girl, Simran Parneenja spends an entire day in the streets of the capital in search of her reel identity. When Simran was briefed on a part she was chosen to portray on the silver screen, she instantly fell in love with her character and was very excited for the shoot to begin.
To make her look more personalized, Simran spent hours with the designers to understand her looks. While they were shooting in Delhi, Simran couldn’t miss the chance to roam around the markets there. As she was finalised a few days before the shoot began, Simran strolled around Delhi markets to pick and choose the designs for her look. She spent a week roaming the smallest of ‘Delhi ki Galiyaan’ to find the most exquisite designs right from Lajpat Nagar to Chandni Chowk she walked every street to find satisfactory designs.
When asked about her experience Simran shared, “I am playing the role of a typical Delhi girl in the show. While working on the show I have got the great opportunity to work with the veterans of the industry like Sulbha Arya Ji, Kiran Karmarkar sir, and Sudhir Pandey Ji.”
Sharing about her enthusiasm for her upcoming look, the actor chirped, “To add a personalised touch to my character, I flew down to Delhi to pick up a few designs. I roamed around the streets of Chandni Chowk to Lajpat Nagar and Shahpur Jatt and explored the famous places in the Capital.”
