Shocked spectators watch as crocodile attacks handler who put his hand in its jaws

Being good at your job is a great thing but overconfidence can be lethal in a risky profession. Crocodiles are terrifying creatures and their powerful jaws make them devastating predators.

A 45-year-old reptile handler in Thailand paid the price for getting too close to a crocodile as the reptile attacked him. He put his hand between the creature’s jaws and what followed left spectators horrified.

It clamped down on Tao’s arm and went on to shake him from side to side. He screamed in agony before managing to free himself and staggering away with blood dripping from his arm.

A visitor who recorded the incident said that the video seems to show that the crocodile didn’t like the arm near its jaws.
