Being aloof is how men deal with a divorce or separation, says new study
Breakups are always depressing; some deal with them better while others just lose interest in life, for a brief moment. However, men and women both deal with it differently and a new study has an interesting insight.
While this behaviour has intrigued many people, in 2000 a study showed that women become extroverts after a breakup; they like to go out and party and meet new people while men become reclusive and prefer to be on their own.
Men also find it hard to get back up as they lose confidence and take longer because they feel demoralised. It is because they feel they need to compete again to find a suitable partner.
