My mother and son are very special, says Amal Sehrawat

During my teenage years, my mother became my best friend and I never felt the need to look for any other best friend.

Best bonds are always shared with the best of people — those who do not judge you, love you unconditionally, accept you the way you are, inspire you to be a better person every day, motivate and inspire you at time of your failures and keep you grounded after achieving success.

I feel that the letter K is a blessing for me, as Krishay my son and Kanta my mom are the two special people with whom I share my strongest bonds.

During my teenage years, my mother became my best friend and I never felt the need to look for any other best friend. I shared all my excitements and fears that I experienced as a teenager. I remember studying medical till 12th to become a doctor, and my parents provided me best coaching available, my mom used to be awake with me entire night as my study partner, and after so much of hard work, one fine day I told her I want to become an actor and not doctor She told me the pros and cons of both careers and asked me to choose whichever I was inclined towards more and I chose to be an actor. I didn’t only waste four years studying day and night for something that I left in one day but also wasted four years of her hard work, but she never complains and till date supports me.

Krishay, on the other hand, is happy seeing me, looks at my work with sparkling eyes, tightly hugs me after seeing me on screen, and wants to be like me, that makes me more responsible in all the things I do, as his role model is me. His love and affection for me motivates and elevates me. I feel like my life is balanced by the two of them.
