Winter is here and for those seeking some adventure, Paithalmala in Kannur is an ideal destination. Also known as Vaithalmala, the hill station lies in close proximity to the Kodagu forests, marking the Kerala-Karnataka border.
The less-invaded place is preferred by adventure-loving trekkers in two seasons, one during the monsoon and other, the summer. Many love to backpack to this scenic spot during the rainy season. Less affected by all the tourist infiltration, the place therefore retains its natural glory.
