Two new open spaces in South Delhi
The work was undertaken after the LG had directed the corporation to improve the spaces under flyovers.
New Delhi: Two transformed open spaces underneath Kalkaji and Nehru Place flyovers, which were once a haven for anti-social elements, were thrown open to the public on Sunday.
The open spaces, developed by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC), were opened by Delhi lieutenant governor (L-G) Anil Baijal.
The open space under the Nehru Place flyover is the first in the country where outdoor musical instruments have been provided for the general public.
