29-year-old woman ends life in hospital’s terrace room

New Delhi: A 29-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan inside the room on the terrace of a hospital, on Sunday night.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Jyoti. She had come to see her ailing mother at Chandra Leela Hospital. Probe reveals that Jyoti was married last year and was allegedly not happy with her marriage. On Sunday night, Jyoti had come to see her mother, where she allegedly went to the terrace and hung herself with the help of her dupatta inside a room of the hospital.

The incident came to light when the hospital employees saw her hanging around 9.20 am. and immediately informed the police. The Bindapur police visited the spot and have sent her body for post mortem. Police is questioning the family and a case of unnatural death is registered.
