Three goons kidnap Maruti staff, loot cash & valuables

New Delhi: Three unidentified armed men abducted a person, who worked in Maruti Suzuki, at gunpoint. The accused threw the victim out of the car after divesting him of all valuables such as cash, ATM cards among others and fled along with the victim’s car

Rajkumar, the victim, in his complaint stated that the incident took place at about 9 pm when he was proceeding to his friend’s place by his Santro car.

The victim works in Maruti Suzuki and had gone to Jhateekra to attend his friend’s marraige on Monday.

Coming back after attending a marriage ceremony turned nightmarish for the 34-year-old Rajkumar, a resident of Shyam Vihar Phase–1. Once in Jhateekra, he went straight to a farmhouse to attend his friend’s engagement ceremony when it suddenly started to rain.

Deciding to stay inside the car instead of getting drenched in the rain, he saw three armed men approach his car and singnalling him to come out of the car.

He stated that when Rajkumar opened the car’s door, one of the gang members held him at gunpoint, while the remaining two forcibly made him sit in the rear of the car.

The gang members then sped away from the spot and kewpt roaming on the capital’s roads for some time.

Meanwhile, the two other gang members, who threatened the victim to handover all the valuables.

After receiving them, the gang members allegedly threw the victim Rajkumar from the car on the road and fled with his Santro car.

Rajkumar somehow managed to reach the farmhouse and later approached the Chhawala police station.

Based on the complaint registered by him, the police have registered a case and are on the hunt to arrest the miscreants.
