CBSE results to be out today

A total of 16,67,573 candidates had appeared for the exam this year.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the results for the Class 10 examinations on Saturday.

“The CBSE will declare result of Secondary School Examination (Class 10) — 2017 on June 3. As per the previous years, this year also the CBSE is hosting its result on the Internet with the technical support of the National Informatics Centre,” an official release said.

A total of 16,67,573 candidates had appeared for the exam this year. According to an official, the results for Class 10 exams will be announced at foren-oon.

The schools will automatically get their entire schools results on email IDs already registered with the board. However, the CBSE clarified that the result will not be available in the board premises and the public has been advised not to visit the office for collection of results.

Last year, a total of 14,91,293 candidates were registered for CBSE Class 10 exams, which was an increase of about 8.5 per cent candidates as compared to 2015.
