World-class infrastructure and clean water in BJP manifesto

Shyam Jaju explained that the city is growing everyday and the existing infrastructure in not capable of handling it or the future load.

New Delhi: Clean drinking water to each household, measures to address the issue of rising air pollution, and building a world class infrastructure are some of the key promises that the Delhi BJP is going to make in its manifesto for the coming state elections.

Confirming the fact, BJP national vice president Shyam Jaju, who is also the in-charge of the party city unit, told this newspaper that the party ‘Sankalp Patra’ (manifesto) will also focus on a series of schemes which will help people improve their living conditions.

Mr Jaju explained that the city is growing everyday and the existing infrastructure in not capable of handling it or the future load, so BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ will come out with the solution to meet the demand considering all the aspects. Mr Jaju pointed out that apart from clean drinking water and measures to address the rising air pollution, the ‘Sankalp Patra’ will talk about how the BJP government will strengthen public transport, health, and education to meet the growing needs of the city.

On education and health front, Mr Jaju said that the manifesto will talk about the hospital and educational institutes that will be opened in phased manner to cater to the growing load in the coming years.
