New Delhi : A TV showroom in west Delhi's Shalimar Bagh was looted on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday by four masked men. LED Televisions worth Rs 3 to Rs 5 lakhs were stolen from the shop.

According to the police, the incident took place in Shalimar Bagh’s Double A Block’s Chaanan Electronics Store. The thieves who came in an Innova Car first tried different sets of keys to open the lock.

When they didn’t succeed, they then took a lock cutter from their car and tried to break-open the shutter by breaking eight locks.

The entire incident,  which was caught on nearby CCTV cameras,  also shows that that two men were seated inside the car, while two others were breaking busy in breaking the locks.

However their bid didn’t succeed as the guard upon seeing the thieves, alerted the police and owner Vaibhav Channana.

He alleged that police delayed coming to the spot. “They came 27 minutes after I called them.” The thieves were at my shop for more than an hour.
