New Delhi: Madame Tussauds has enlivened this year’s International Women’s Day with a week-long celebration, with exciting activities modelled, especially for women.

Sabia Gulati, head sales, marketing, Madame Tussauds, Delhi, said, “International Women’s Day celebrates the power of women, their rights and role in our lives and the society.

“On this occasion, Madame Tussauds would like to pamper women in the most exciting way. We are pleased to announce a week-long Women’s Day celebration at Madame Tussauds. We welcome everyone to come and enjoy with your friends,” Ms Gulati said.

Located in Connaught Place’s Regal Building, the wax museum opened on December 1 last and is based around celebrities from diverse genres from across the world.

This is the 23rd edition of the museum, operated by Merlin Entertainments, and features 50 lifelike figures spanning across history, sports, music, films, and politics.

Merlin Entertainments owns all Madame Tussauds attractions across the world. It has celebrities, actors, sportspersons and freedom movement stalwarts etc.
