Delhi government responsible for deaths, says BJP leader

The Delhi government is directly responsible for the deaths and loss owing to such fire incidents in the city.

New Delhi: Expressing sorrow over the death of two children who were killed in a fire in Adarsh Nagar, Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta alleged that fire tenders reached the site of the accident an hour late. He added that if the fire tenders had reached immediately upon receiving information, two precious lives could have been saved.

“The Delhi government is directly responsible for the deaths and loss owing to such fire incidents in the city. Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal should take moral responsibility for negligence in such serious incidents of fire and resign,” said Mr Gupta.
