Manoj Tiwari slams Delhi CM Kejriwal over use of bad' language
Even though he lost, he has been relentlessly raising issues concerning the constituency.
New Delhi: Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari on Thursday slammed chief minister Arvind Kejriwal for his use of unparliamentary language in the Delhi Assembly on Wednesday and called it a ‘black day’ of India democracy.
While addressing a press conference, Mr Tiwari announced that journalist-turned politician Pratyush Kanth has left the Congress to join the Delhi BJP. Mr Kanth, 47, had contested the last Assembly polls from Kirari on a Congress ticket. He was able to secure 2,000 votes in the Poorvanchali-dominated seats.
Even though he lost, he has been relentlessly raising issues concerning the constituency. He was a class mate of Congress president Rahul Gandhi for about a year in the St. Stephens College, Mr Tiwari said.
