Panel report claims Max Hospital guilty
Earlier, Health Minister Jain had said that the hospital could lose its license if found guilty.
New Delhi: The panel formed by the Delhi government to probe the Max Hospital incident, in which a newborn was erroneously declared dead, has found the hospital guilty. The preliminary report submitted to health minister Satyendar Jain on Tuesday said that no ECG tracings were done to trace whether the child was alive.
The report further said that the alive infant was kept together with the still-born baby. It also found that the body was handed over without any written instructions.
Earlier, Health Minister Jain had said that the hospital could lose its license if found guilty.
