Cold wave in Delhi impedes rail services, 18 trains cancelled

As cold wave still continues in Delhi, minimum temperature was recorded at 9 degree Celsius and maximum temperature at 23 degree Celsius.

New Delhi: As many as 18 trains were cancelled, and 16 were arriving late due to low visibility in the National Capital Region on Monday as per Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO), New Delhi Railway Station.

As the cold wave still continues in Delhi, the minimum temperature was recorded at 9 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature at 23 degree Celsius.

The Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi-NCR is hovering around 314-148.

The air quality of RK Puram was recorded at AQI 185 while that of Punjabi Bagh was recorded at AQI 179; both fall in the 'very unhealthy category'.

The highest AQI was recorded at 314 in DTU which falls under the hazardous category.
