New Delhi: In an alleged assault case, two CISF personnel attached to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) were allegedly beaten up by a dhaba owner and his gang of 12 men on Wednesday morning near Jhajjar bypass.

The two men had stopped to take breakfast and had complained of satle food served to them.

The police said that the two personnel were identified as Krishna and Vinod Kumar. The two hail from Rohtak. They were attached to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.

The incident took place at about 6.30 am at Jhajjar bypass where they had stopped by to have breakfast. They were on their way to duty in their vehicle.

According to Krishna Kumar, they had ordered for paranthas. As the order came and the two began to eat, Krishna Kumar claimed the sauce provided was sour.  When the duo called one of the emoloyees and questioned him about the same, the man picked up a quarrel.

The duo then asked the employee to serve them curd instead of sauces, to which the employee allegedly refused and also abused the duo.

When Krishna and Vinod reported the matter to the eatery owner and complained about the misbehaviour, the owner supposedly turned a deaf ear and accused the personnel of extortion by not paying and eating free of cost. Soon, a verbal altercation ensued and the two parties got allegedly involved in a fight. The owner called his men and in no time, over 12 men came and assaulted Krishna and Vinod. The duo sustained multiple fractures.
