Maheish Girri leads BJP march in East Delhi

The BJP workers will oppose the Leftists and their conspiracy in the entire country, Mr Girri added.

New Delhi: Leading the third day of ‘Jan Raksha Yatra’ organised by the Delhi BJP’s Shahdara district protesting against political killing of RSS and BJP workers in Kerala, party national secretary and Lok Sabha member from East Delhi, Maheish Girri on Saturday said that the Leftists are a group of misguided people who do not have faith in the Constitution and the laws.

The BJP workers assembled at Jantar Mantar Chowk and raised slogans against the killings in Kerala and reached the CPM office at Bhai Veer Singh Marg where the workers staged a protest demonstration.

Addressing the workers, Mr Girri said that wherever these people (Leftists) have become active, they have posed a challenge to the country as well as the Constitution.

“The Rashtriya Swa-yamsevak Sangh (RSS)and BJP workers are involved in development works of the central government in Kerala and other parts of the country. In desperation these Leftists are committing political violence. The BJP workers will oppose the Leftists and their conspiracy in the entire country,” Mr Girri added.

MLA Om Prakash Sharma said that in a democracy, parties’ leader/workers contest against each other even though their ideologies are different.

Every person has fundamental rights and this should not be curtailed . “Freedom of expression cannot be suppressed by bloody fights. The Leftists have, time and again, been exposed in the entire country and their end will come in the near future,” added Mr Sharma.

According to Delhi BJP vice president Abhay Verma, the Leftist’s game plan was to commit murders of political party leaders and workers and this was being made in desperation.

Convener of the Jan Raksha Yatra and state BJP general secretary Rajesh Bhatia said that the Delhi BJP workers will take out a massive march on October 16 against the political murders bei ng committed against the RSS and the BJP leaders and workers in Kerala.
