Fake education board busted, chairman' among six arrested

During the course of investigation, it was found that one Parshant Solanki had given the said fake marksheet to the complainant.

New Delhi: Delhi police busted a pan India network of fake education board and university running in the name of Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi. The police has arrested six persons, including the ‘chairman’, Shiv Prasad Pandey, and recovered 15,000 fake mark sheets of 17 different boards/universities.

According to police, a team led by DCP (Shahdara) Nupur Prasad has arrested six persons, who have cheated more than 20,000 people all over India by issuing fake mark sheets and certificates. The arrested are Parshant Solanki (22), Baljeet Singh alias Raju (24), Altaaf Raja (22), Lakshya Rathore alias Amit (24), Ramdev Sharma (65), and Shiv Prasad Pandey (65).

The police said that on September 11, the complainant made a complaint regarding fake mark sheets being issued by the “Board of Higher Secondary Education.” This complaint was marked to ASI Naresh, who verified the marksheet from the ministry of human resources development as well as the education department of the GNCT. During verification, it was found that the “Board of Higher Secondary Education” is a fake board and thus the mark sheet issued from this board is also fake. Thereafter, a team was constituted to nab the culprits. The team made painstaking efforts and conducted meticulous investigation to bust the entire chain of this racket.

During the course of investigation, it was found that one Parshant Solanki had given the said fake marksheet to the complainant. Accused Solanki was located with the help of technical analysis and was arrested from Wazirabad in Delhi. During interrogation, the accused admitted that he was posted in the fake board as a computer operator. Pandey, was the chairman of the board, operated from Lucknow.
