BJP office bearers in soup over wrong info

New Delhi: In an attempt to cover up its inefficiency before the central leadership, Delhi BJP office bearers gave wrong information to party’s national general secretary, Arun Singh, about the status of different programmes initiated by the political outfit.

Mr Singh, on Thursday afternoon, held a meeting with Delhi BJP officer bearers in which he asked them whether they had received any literature related to the different activities started by the party.

Sources, who attended the meeting, told this newspaper that all the office bearers nodded their head without having received any such literature. The said literature is related to different activities including the achievements of the Modi government and initiatives taken for the welfare of the poor section of the society.

Mr Singh was interacting with the party’s local unit during his two-day coordination stay with them.

Sources said that during the interaction, Mr Singh said that the local unit should work intensively to successfully complete the six programmes assigned by the central unit.
