Three held for kidnapping boy from Outer Delhi
New Delhi: Three persons were arrested for allegedly kidnapping a 5-year-old child from Outer Delhi. The case was solved within 16 hours of the incident, the police claimed.
The police said that on September 7, the complainant visited Ranhola police station and lodged a missing report of his son aged 5 years. Immediately, a case was registered. Seeing the gravity of the case, investigation of the case was taken up on priority basis. A team was constituted and all nearby CCTV cameras scanned, local sources developed and after thorough examination of the complainant, it was revealed that the child was kidnapped by three persons.
The arrested were identified as Surender (19) a resident of AjamGarh, UP, is a dropout of 4 th class, Ashish, (22) and Sunil, (25). All three were working as labour in a marble factory.
Probe revealed that the three used to roam around the house. The police tracked their family members which led to a vital clue that the accused persons might be in Ludhiana (Punjab). On the basis of local intelligence, the team conducted a raid at Lal Bagh Colony, Raj Guru Nagar in Ludhiana (Punjab) and safely rescued the boy from the kidnappers.
