Delhi: Candidates' fate sealed in EVMs
The total turnout was substantially better than last year's elections where it was recorded at 37 per cent, said Mr Babbar.
New Delhi: The Delhi University Students Union (Dusu) elections on Tuesday recorded 43 per cent turnout, six per cent more than last year’s. From the 51 colleges whose students elect the Dusu, 44 per cent was recorded in the morning colleges, and 42 per cent in evening colleges, chief election officer S.B. Babbar said.
The total turnout was substantially better than last year’s elections where it was recorded at 37 per cent, said Mr Babbar. According to sources, there was 65 per cent voting in Hindu College, over 50 per cent in Ramjas College, 40 per cent in Deshbandhu College, 58 per cent in Shri Ram College of Commerce, 58 per cent in Rajdhani College and 53 per cent in ARSD College.
