Delhi realtor burnt alive in Aligarh
New Delhi: A realtor from Delhi was allegedly burnt alive in his Skoda Car in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh. A resident of New Ashok Nagar, the 35-year-old realtor left Delhi on Friday to get some money, but never returned. His burnt body was found inside his Skoda car on Saturday.
The deceased was identified by the Aligrah police as Mohammad Rizwan. He was married to Nazmeen and had a seven-year-old daughter. The car was found on a Link road 700 metres away from the Aligarh-Etah highway on Saturday morning. The deceased’s wife had allegedly registered a missing report at Jamia Nagar police station on Saturday.
According to the police, after the police was alerted preliminary probe suggested that the deceased may have been burnt in the car after it accidentally caught fire, however, when probed thoroughly the UP police found empty bottles that reeked of petrol in a nearby agricultural field.
Looking at the body, the police said that the incident might have taken place around 4 am, though they were informed about the burnt car by some passers-by at around 6.30 am.
