New Delhi: BJP’s move to distribute laddoos at ATM queues may have had positive and negative feedback. Twitterati, however, did not pass up on the opportunity to take a few digs at the move. The move went viral and soon erupted with hilarious tweets. While some called it “Modichor ka laddoo”, others put out memes with with PM Modi’s face shaped like a laddoos.

One such tweet said: “Now we’ll have two kinds of people standing in the queues. Those who urgently need cash & those who urgently need a laddoo.” Another tweet took a dig at the curbs imposed due to demonetisation and said, “Only four laddoos allowed in a month. Old laddoos cannot be exchanged for new ones any more. Anyone having more than 10 will be raided.”

Another Twitter user @TweetsofRP was not impressed with this “sweet” gesture. “Meanwhile in ATM queue* Paise do laddoo hum kharid lenge,” the tweet said.

AAP activist and singer Vishal Dadlani took a dig at the government against the move, “Sorry, we screwed up the economy and messed up your lives. Here, have a laddoo!”GREAT plan! :/,” he tweeted.
