Police arrests four, recovers two mobile phones in city
New Delhi: With the arrest of four accused persons, the Delhi police has solved a planned robbery case within four hours and recovered Rs 46000.
The accused were identified as, Chandan, Rahul, Avdhesh alias Chotu and Dinesh.
According to the police, on Sunday, a PCR call regarding a robbery was received by Subrato Park police and that unknown persons had stolen Rs 50,000 in cash and two mobile phones near the
CNG petrol pump, Ring Road. The police reached the spot and found that the caller Chandan had left for his home. In the meantime, the police control room received call another of same description . This time, the police met the caller identified as Pankaj.
During investigation, it was revealed that Chandan, an employee of Pankaj, was behind the crime.
On sustained interrogation, he disclosed that the conspiracy behind this and disclosed that the crime was committed by one Rahul with the help of his two associate namely Avdhesh and Dinesh.
All the three persons along with main conspirator Chandan have been arrested, said a senior police official.
