Minor girl murdered by her mother and paramour
New Delhi: In a cold-blooded murder, a six-year-old girl was murdered with her throat slit in East Delhi’s Ghazipur area. What surfaced even more shocking was that the mother of the minor along with her paramour executed the murder on Wednesday night.
The police said that the body of the girl was found on the building’s terrace on Thursday early morning. The police was informed at around 11 pm on Wednesday about a six-and-a-half-year-old girl deceased Kajol, a Class 1 student in a government school, who was playing with her younger brother in a rented room in Ghazipur’s Dairy Farm area, went missing. After a few hours, the girl’s body was found with her throat slit on the terrace of the building where she stayed, the police said.
“Her parents searched and inquired about her in the neighbouring houses, but later found her murdered with throat slit with some sharp-edged weapon on the terrace of the house. Six other tenants also live in the same building,” a senior police officer said.
The residents of the building were questioned and the police became suspicious about the girl’s mother, they said.
During investigation, it emerged that the girl’s mother was having an extra-marital affair, the police said.
Probe revealed that the accused woman and her paramour allegedly slit the throat of her minor daughter after she found out about their affair and threatened to inform her father.
A couple of days ago, the girl had seen her mother with her paramour and had threatened to inform her father about the affair, they added.
The girl’s mother hatched a plan with her paramour to allegedly kill her daughter, the police said, adding that the accused have been detained.
