Former office-bearers to plan strategy with Manoj Tiwari
New Delhi: Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari has decided call a meeting of ex-office bearers to plan and redraw future strategy.
A decision to call the meeting was taken in an informal meeting in which Mr Tiwari, Lok Sabha member from South Delhi constituency Ramesh Bidhuri, state office bearer and others were present on Friday.
It was decided that a state office bearer and a former president of a party wing will prepare a list of former state and district office bearers who will attend the meeting to held before June 25.
“It was decided that the party must approach and use services of these experienced leaders, who had performed earlier, to strengthen the organisation well ahead of next Assembly election to uproot Kerjiwal government.
A list of around 50 former office bearers will be prepared and they will meet Mr Tiwari at party’s state unit office before end of next week,” said a well placed sources who was aware of development.
According to party insider, these leaders were sidelined during formation of new team but have immense organisational skills and had performed when given responsibilities in previous teams. “Leaders who held any position in state team or of district president and general secretaries will be called for the meeting,” he said.
