2 held for supply of spurious medicines

New Delhi: Delhi police has arrested two members of a gang involved in manufacturing and supplying of spurious medicines. A large quantity of duplicate medicines, equipment and material have been recovered from them.
The team arrested Bijender Singh (55) and Ashok Kumar (42) for manufacturing and supplying of such medicines.
Police said a tip-off was received that Ashok and his accomplice Bijender would come to supply drugs to someone. A team of officers of ISC, Crime Branch, Chankyapuri, was sounded and their assistance sought in the matter. The team came to know that Ashok and Bijender would reach the Parcel Yard Gate, Ajmeri Gate, New Delhi Railway Station.
The team laid a trap at and intercepted the movement of one Ecco van.
