Gurgaon: The Gurgaon police on Tuesday found bodies of two women and a man with their throats slit in the Aravalli forest near Sohna, about 16 km from Gurgaon.

The police said the dead included a couple and their neighbour. They were all construction workers from a village in Panna district of Madhya Pradesh, who had ventured into the forest near Ghamdauj village to collect firewood.

A forensic team collected evidence from the scene of crime. Sniffer dogs were deployed to search for more clues.

While police officers are hunting for the husband of one of the murdered woman, they added that all the angles are being investigated.

“The matter is being probed and we have called the relatives of the victims to identify them,” said SHO Umesh Kumar.

The deceased have been identified as Lakhan, his wife Sheela  and Komalbai. They belonged to the same family and worked as labourers in Gurgaon.
