Delhi University Kothari hostel doubles fees
The hostel has doubled its fee, from Rs 1,200 to Rs 2,400 per month in order to generate funds for security resource and mess.
New Delhi: Students will have to shell out more money to reside in Delhi University as it has decided to hike fees for all its hostels. However, D.S. Kothari is the first hostel to move towards this direction.

One of the premiere hostels of DU, Kothari comprises of 38 double-seated rooms and 19 single seated rooms to accommodate postgraduate students and research scholars. The maximum occupancy of the hostel is 97.
There are about 18 hostels that are maintained by the University, most of which are located in North Campus.
