New Delhi: Security officials near Parliament area were in a tizzy after they received a PCR call that three bikers are trying to enter Parliament. Security personnel posted at Parliament made the call and both the bikers were immediately taken into custody.

According to the police, on Tuesday late night, around 2:30 am, the police received a PCR call regarding three youth on a motorcycle rammed into the automatic barrier of Parliament gate number 2. The youth were under the influence of alcohol.

They were taken to Parliament Street police station where IB, Cell, and other security agencies questioned them for hours. Later, it was found that both the boys, who are residents of north-east had lost their way. They were heading towards Parliament from Race Course Road when they lost their way and tried to enter Parliament near Rail Bhawan.

Three quarters of alcohol bottle have also been recovered from their possession. It was further revealed that the youths were coming from India Gate side when they lost their way. The police said as of now, no case has been filed against them. If possible they will be again called for the questioning.

However after this incident the security agencies have beefed up the security as this raises a serious concern over the security in the vip area.
