AAP member’s kin murdered

New Delhi: A retired 65-year-old MCD contractor and a relative of an AAP party member was stabbed to death in Rohini’s Bawana on Sunday. 

The deceased, Jaipal, had gone to attend the last rites of a family member on Sunday early morning but never retruned. The police said that his body was found near the small river next to a cremation ground with several stab injuries. 

According to the police, Jaipal, a resident of Bawana, was married and was living with his wife. The couple didn’t have any child from the wedlock. The deceased was a contractor in Municipal Corporation in Delhi and had a political background. His nephew is a member of Aam Admi Party. Probe reveals that there was a death in the family on Saturday. Jaipal along with other family members had to go for performing one of the rituals at the cremation ground from where he went missing. 

The death came to light when the passersby noticed Jaipal’s body lying in pool of blood with several stab injuries near the river. He was immediately taken to a hospital where he was declared brough dead.
