Man puts girl photos on FB without her nod, booked
The girl immediately approached the Vasant Kunj (south) police on April 24 and lodged a complaint in this regard.
New Delhi: A man has been booked under Information Technology Act for allegedly putting photographs of his friend on a social networking website without her consent.
According to a complaint received on April 23, the girl alleged that some of her inappropriate photographs were uploaded on Facebook and Instagram by her friend Kapil without her consent. She told the police that her phone had developed a technical problem. When she told her Kapil, a resident of Noida, about it he took the phone from her for repair on April 20.
When her cellphone came back after repairs, the girl alleged that Kapil didn’t return it to her. He allegedly uploaded her inappropriate pictures on Facebook and Instagram. He then called the girl and informed her about it, said the police.
The girl immediately approached the Vasant Kunj (south) police on April 24 and lodged a complaint in this regard. The jurisdictional police has taken up the case and is probing in this connection.
