New Delhi: The admission process for undergraduate courses for academic session 2017-18 which started in June at Delhi University finally ended on Friday under the eleventh cut-off list. While regular colleges are left with no vacant seats, the students can still take admission in School of Open Learning (SOL).

Students admitted under the eleventh cut-off can deposit their fees till August 28. According to a DU official, students do not have the opportunity to enroll in regular colleges. Till Friday evening 6 pm, 59,647 admissions were approved and at the same time, 58,314 students had deposited their fees.

“With the facility to deposit fees till Monday, the number of admissions is likely to increase. Looking at this, it seems like that over 56,000 admissions have been done this year,” the official added. Admissions to NCWEB has also got over even though there are still nearly two thousand seats left vacant. By Friday evening, 9,625 admissions were approved by the NCWB.

Meanwhile, the varsity received about 537 applications for its newly launched five year integrated journalism course. It is to be noted that this course has a total of 120 seats for both Hindi and English medium.
