New Delhi: The Delhi Commission for Women has come to the rescue of a woman who alleged her educational and medical documents were taken away forcefully by her husband.

The woman, who is a cancer patient, approached the women's panel with a complaint that her husband had beaten her up and thrown her out of their house, said a DCW spokesperson.

She alleged her husband had refused to give her medical records and educational documents.
