DU to release PG admit cards online
NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi is likely to release the Post Graduation Admit Card 2019 soon in the online mode. Candidates applied for the various postgraduate programmes offered by the varsity can download their hall ticket from university’s official website.
For the candidates who appeared in the PG entrance test the admit cards will be allotted. Also no candidate will be sent a hard copy of the admit card by post, candidates will have to download their cards via DU official website. DU Admit card constitutes of information such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre, and important guidelines for the examination.
In case candidates find any discrepancy in the details mentioned on the admit card they must immediately get in contact with examination authority.
The entrance tests will be conducted for both regular and non-regular courses in 18 cities across the country. This year around 1,54,075 candidates registered for admission to the PG programmes offered out of which only 1,31,129 candidates paid the registration fee.
Candidates must carry their admit cards with them to the exam centre on the day of the exam. No candidate will be allowed to enter without a valid admit card. The applicants are also advised to carry multiple copies of their admit card.
This year 1,54,075 candidates have registered for admission to the PG programmes out of which, only 1,31,129 candidates have paid the registration fee.
While the general category reported the highest number of applicants with 70,326 registrations, followed by Other Backward Classes (OBC) with 30,335, Scheduled Castes (SC) with 19,558 registrations, Scheduled Tribes (ST) with 6,463 registrations and for Extra Curricular Activities (EWS) with 4,447 registrations.
