West Bengal CM Mamata remembers Rituparno Ghosh on birthday

Rituparno Ghosh, a film director, actor, writer and lyricist had passed away on May 30, 2013 at the age of 49.

Kolkata: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee remembered late filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh on his birthday on Thursday and said he had passed away “too soon”.

“Remembering the  late Rituparno Ghosh on his birth anniversary. We lost him too soon,” Ms  Banerjee wrote on her Twitter handle on Thursday morning.

Rituparno Ghosh, a film director, actor, writer and lyricist had passed away on May 30, 2013 at the age of 49.Rituparno Ghosh, who had received National Film Awards for his work in Unishe April, Dahan, Raincoat and Utsov, had also acted in Chitrangada, Arekti Premer Golpo and Memories in March.
