The injured women were given water at a shop.
Angry locals gave a chase but failed to stop the taxi. Within few minutes they however found the taxi coming, but without a passenger. Angry locals stopped the taxi and vandalised it. But Ricky managed to escape. The three women were rushed to SSKM Hospital where they received first-aid for burn injuries. The police called the taxi owner, Jayanta Pal, for questioning later.
