Dilip Ghosh threatens to send TMC MLAs to jail
Kolkata: State BJP president Dilip Ghosh on Saturday threatened to send the Trinamul Congress MLAs to jail if the saffron party comes to power in West Bengal. Triggering controversy again, he also ordered the people to stop the police vehicles, if they visit villages at night.
Addressing a rally at Arambag in Hooghly on Friday, Mr Ghosh alleged, “Where does such a huge money come to them from? All are of the public which are meant for the development. But we will account each penny. If someone is showing off with the public money, it will not continue.”
He claimed, “Each and every paisa will be counted once the change takes place either tomorrow or later. We will send all the members of this panchayat and zilla parishad to Chinsurah Jail. They will have to live there. We will not let them enjoy their houses and cars.”
The BJP MP of Midnapore added, “Those who have become MLAs will be sent to Alipore Central Jail.”
“Those who have become heavyweight ministers and MPs will be sent to Bhubaneswar to visit Lord Jagannath. We will send all kinds of brothers of the chief minister to jail also.”
