Fueds of TMC have caused bloodbath: Dilip Ghosh

There are many instances where the BJP and Trinamul are jointly trying to build boards at the rural bodies.

Kolkata: The state BJP has directed its winning candidates of the panchayat elections to form boards of the rural bodies joining hands with the candidates of other parties: CPI(M) and Congress to tackle the Trinamul Congress from coming to power. The Trinamul has bantered its call.

On Sunday, state BJP president Dilip Ghosh said, “The Trinamul has to be kept away from the corruption at the grass root level. BJP directed all that boards have to be formed with other political parties to fulfill the dream of the common people.” He alleged that factional feud of the Trinamul has caused clashes and bloodbath over forming the boards.

The BJP MLA of Kharagpur added, “The Trinamul won uncontested in most places. Still they are habitually locked in feud among themselves leading to murder.” Taking a dig at him Trinamul secretary general Partha Chatterjee said, “Under BJP’s leadership the Congress and CPI(M) have been on the same page: Jogai, Madhai, Vidai.”

He added, “So whatever he has said is correct. He is saying publicly what he did secretly before the elections. They are doing many things still and they will do it more. Let them do it.” Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi the education minister said, “Their leader’s chest of 56 inches has started shrinking. And he (Mr Ghosh) is roaming around with a pitcher instead of a towel.”

He mentioned, “If he thinks there is a bloodbath, he must stop it. We know why bloodbath is taking place. We are aware who is picking and sending whom in Jharkhand. They are playing all types of games. They are trying to divide the tribals also. The politics of division must stop.”

On the BJP’s call CPI(M) MLA Sujan Chakraborty however said, “It does not matter what Mr Ghosh said. There are many instances where the BJP and Trinamul are jointly trying to build boards at the rural bodies.”
